All About Our C2 Corvette Steering Wheels

●   Our steering wheels for C2 Corvettes have a 15″ outside diameter and feature stainless steel frames with a 6-bolt mount for 1963-67 C2 Corvettes.

●   You can select from any of the STANDARD CHOICES for your wheel at no additional charge

●   As you are designing “Your Wheel Your Way” you can select any combination of OPTIONS & UPGRADES to create exactly the wheel you want.

    IF YOU WANT YOUR WHEEL PAINTED IN A CUSTOM COLOR(S):

    Our ABS grips take paint extremely well and when shot with a coat of clear they are extremely durable.

    If you want us to paint them for you, simply specify the PPG paint codes you want us to use while you are designing your wheel.

    If you prefer to doing your own painting, complete your wheel design showing the color splits you want and we will send you the grip parts cut and ready for paint. 

    The color shown on your wheel design is a placeholder and intended only to help you visualize your steering wheel.

    Prices include painting the complete front grip, rear grip and spoke covers.  Standard materials included.  Additional material costs may apply.

    Complete your design using our standard colors and split choices.  We will use them only as a guide as to how to cut the parts for your wheel and then send the parts to you for painting.  We will assemble the wheel when the parts are returned to us.

    The colors shown for our standard ABS grips are as accurate as possible but they are not exact due to the limitations of matching colors on computers.  If you want samples of our grip material to confirm colors, CLICK HERE.

    Wrapping a steering wheel requires that you send us a piece of leather measuring 6” X 60”.  We cannot use any “leather like” material.  The color shown on your wheel design is a place holder only.  Please send leather to:

    The typical charge for leather is $40 but the cost can vary depending on leather color and type.  This is separate from the charge for wrapping your steering wheel.

    Note: The color and wood grain you see here is for visualization only.  We use select hardwoods for our builds but given every piece of wood is unique the pieces we use for your wheel can vary greatly from the images below.  If an exact match is required, we suggest using the ‘Customer Supplied’ option.

    CUSTOMER SUPPLIED WOOD:

    Custom species wheels require a minimum of wood, surfaced on two sides (S2S).  If you are supplying your own wood for your wheel, any of the following are acceptable to us:

    •  2 pieces 2" wide X 54" long
    - or -
    •  1 piece 4" wide X 54" long
    - or -
    •  1 piece 6" wide X 36" long

    Please note these are net dimensions and the pieces must be a full 3/4" thick and free of knots, checks, splits, twisting, bowing and cupping.

    Additional material must be provided if the wood has knots or other flaws that must be cut around.

    A milling charge will be added if wood is warped, cupped or bowed.

    Unless otherwise instructed, we will use the most significant grain patterns for the front grip.
